Gurprit Grewal

Gurprit is a highly experienced Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), recognized for her compassionate approach to supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges. She brings over 15 years of clinical experience to her practice.
​
Gurprit specializes in working with adults and youth who are navigating a range of challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, addictions, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She also supports clients dealing with compassion fatigue, burnout, life transitions, low self-esteem, LGBTQIA+ related concerns, and stress related to work, school, and relationships.
Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based interventions. She is also trained in Observed & Experiential Integration (OEI), a gentle and effective trauma therapy that supports emotional processing and healing. Gurprit also offers Executive Function Coaching.
Known for her client-centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approach, Gurprit creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where individuals feel seen, heard, and respected. She works collaboratively with clients to identify their goals, develop practical coping strategies, and foster lasting emotional resilience and personal growth.
With a strong commitment to ethical practice and continuing education, Gurprit integrates current research and clinical best practices to ensure her clients receive the highest standard of care. Her warm and compassionate presence, combined with her clinical expertise, makes her a trusted ally for those navigating life’s challenges and seeking meaningful change.

She holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, bringing a comprehensive and socially informed perspective to her therapeutic work.
